You could have almost called it sensory overload, but it was a hit! The LTC mobile classroom pulled into the parking lot at First Congregational Church and welcomed a dozen Horizons4Girls students. They got to first hand, experience computerized manufacturing, welding, and so much more. The experience opened up so many possibilities for non-traditional jobs they might consider - we know a spark or two may have been lit. I will give you the top 10 reasons here, but I can tell you what students have said about why to consider being a mentor: Dayjah said, "Think about the people in your life that inspired you and take time to say 'thank you' and pay it forward so I can succeed and then pay it forward".
